  • Black Coffee Before Bed

I got home about an hour ago and as I was leaving work I started having a bit of an asthma attack. It proceeded to become worse as I marched on. I stopped to get a soda thinking it's caffeine would help. The soda didn't have much of an effect and I was wishing that I had a rescue inhaler. Now that I'm home I'm enjoying some coffee and watching a Let's Play video of Chrono Cross. Even though I had to start work at 3 I got to the mall at 11 so I can see the Avengers again. To my surprise it was crowded, even more so than Friday. What sucks is now I have to wait for the DVD to come out but I at least have the 2nd season of the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes to hold me over. I bought the season pass on itunes this past Saturday.

Well my breathing isn't as labored as it was before and I'm not wound up from the coffee. I'll see if I can get some sleep. Tomorrow I have the same schedule minus seeing the Avengers. Though I'm tempted.

  • HAVE AT THEE!

I saw the Avengers Friday morning. I'm probably too biased to give it a critical review because much like the Thor movie this was my childhood fantasy coming to life on the big screen. I'm probably going to see it at least second time before it leaves the theater. I was surprised to see so many people at 9 in the morning. I was thinking I would have maybe ten other people there but it must been at least two dozen.

The movie has been well received by audiences and critics, and now it is claiming its reward at the box office.
">#2 Opening Day for the Avengers By the end of the weekend it should gross over half a billion dollars worldwide. This is great news because this performance elevates Joss Whedon from cult following to a major player. I doubt it will garner any Academy Award nominations maybe in the effects category and possibly editing. It will get some MTV move awards and Teen Choice awards, but I don't know if it will clean up at the Saturns because Prometheus is coming out.

This is what I have been waiting for since I was a kid, Thor gaining mainstream appeal and being apart of a high grossing movie franchise solidifies it. I can't wait for the Thor sequel and the Avengers sequel. I know I rip on Hollywood for going overboard with sequels and being unoriginal but this is my guilty pleasure. So all those naysayers will do well to know thine place because

  • Launching The Kevtopia Project

"Somewhere between the post apocalyptic wasteland and Shangri-La lies Kevtopia. It's not perfect or paradise but it's a start."

The amount money I was spending on netflix I can use to set up my own websites to start my agorist businesses. It doesn't look like anyone has used kevtopia.com just yet, though it seems that others have used it for numerous things. The company I will go through offers templates I hope because I haven't been too proficient at creating websites. I messed around with html code while college but if I had been more patient with designing sites I probably would have tried to make a living out of it. My plan years ago was to start an internet radio station but too many issues with copyright laws made sure that I decided to steer clear of that option.

Once I get the hang of soap making kevtopia.com's main function will be to offer a place for people to purchase my soap. I imagine I'll have to set up a feature for people to use paypal but I will accept silver in addition to other forms of barter. The site will also have an embedded player for the Liberty Radio Network. I'm not sure if I'll get my hemp site up first because doing an affiliate is easier to start then starting from scratch especially since I have yet to start making soap. I originally liked the idea of calling it Hudson Valley Hemp HQ but that is kinda longwinded. I might just do HVHemp as the web address because I still like the name. Getting the hemp site started would coincide with the start of me doing Let's Play videos. I'm pretty sure I couldn't earn a living off the hemp site alone because I will only get a percentage from what is bought through my site. Eventually I would like to sell t-shirts but that can come later.

The end goal is creating a freer world but in order to achieve that it should start with a piece of land. Kevtopia won't just be a website but a place, it will be my future home in NH. Ideally I would like to have a good amount of acreage but even the cheapest land in the Granite State isn't dirt cheap just yet. I've mentioned numerous times that I want to have beehives, chickens, goats and mead hall but as of late I've been thinking about making my own hard cider so having an apple orchard would be in order. When I am settled in I will start renting out small plots to other Free Staters. They can decide how they will live on the land whether it is in a tiny house similar to mine, in a RV or car, tent, or something along lines of an adobe house built with old tires. Those wishing to move to NH as soon as possible but don't have the money to buy a house or an apartment in a more populated area can save up while living in Kevtopia. I'm creating a hamlet or clachan that would be close to self sustaining.
